Description
Real world example
The other day I was transferring about 7 gigabytes worth of MP3's and
AVI's and MPEG movies, Word documents, etc. for a friend of mine. I
used one of our USB 2.0 cards, as well as one of our
USB 2.0 to IDE adapters. I tried
transferring it with the old USB, and it took 128 minutes. However,
when I switched to a new High-Speed USB 2.0 port, the transfer lasted
almost 9 minutes to completely finish the file transfer. Imagine how
fast you could transfer the files you need to?
