Schomburgkia Undulata Xanthina

Bought this Schomburgkia at the Central Florida Orchid Show in Orlando last June. It came in a clear bag so I was able to see some of the roots and the leaves. I mounted it on a piece of cedar wood. It had grown many new roots and three new growths. Unfortunately it hasn’t produced a spike and this is the time of season for Schomburgkia’s to put off spikes. 😞

Thanks for your review. I can see you plant is growing happily. It should bloom for you soon. Sometimes, plants need time to acclimate to your home enviroment and start blooming. Dont forget to give it the vitamins for fast growing and fast adaptation (Fertilizer). Also, they can resist more direct light, it will help them to do it. But, as an orchid grower sometimes you need to be pacient and dont be watching the plant very often.
