Great place to eat! We flew in late the night before and was bummed that we couldn't find any food open. First thing we headed down to the buffet and the food was great!

Stayed here for conference. Clean room. Ok decor. Convenient location. Digital check-in was ok. Didn't try digital key because staff suggested I get card just in case. Really check-in happens automatically. Get room assigned via app, pretty cool. Bell hop to check luggage took while. From had last guest's underwear on window.

Just an okay experience
No fridge or microwave in the rooms
Got a west tower room and got a view of the backside of the east tower
Not very visually pleasing
The room was clean tv barely worked
Can't turn volume up past 25
Shower wasn't that clean
Pillows aren't comfortable but bedding was
Very confusing layout of hotel with not many staff to help you find your way
Don't think I'd come back has a much better experience at aria
Also the pools close at 6 pm??? Like why so early? We didn't even get a chance to swim which was a bummer
Expected a better experienceHelpful 2Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Phillip N.Los Angeles, CA1251799783Jan 23, 2023
If you are paying full price and don't have children, I really don't recommend as the food is just okay. The Asian might be the best of all the options. Italian was the worse. Dessert was okay. I can't imagine this being worth it if you don't have picky children or a buy one get one coupon. It's better to just go to a food court at any casino and order an equivalent amount

We are from Virginia and have never been this far west before. My husband came for a business convention and we chose to stay at the Luxor. First impressions weren't great, it's alittle dated, and dingy, the hallways to the elevators are confusing, and our floor has a bad smell. The rooms are nice, and comfortable, but basic and you have to add a mini fridge ($25 fee) and microwave, they don't come in the room, and the tv only comes with maybe 5 working channels. Our ac unit was on the fritz and wouldn't work and our toilet ran continuously.
But this is where the 4 stars comes in, every person we have spoken to, from the MGM rewards counter, to the lobby, to random hotel workers in the hallways, housekeepers, maintenance, restaurant staff, they have all been amazing. They answer every question and help us with everything. They taught me how to work the slot machines and many of the table games. I needed to get my husband to an urgent care because he developed pneumonia, I asked the front desk and they found the best one. We needed to change a showtime for Blue Man Group, they spent an hour working that out, even though we didn't book through the hotel. We asked about the AC unit and toilet, they immediately had someone in our room to fix it, and he was wonderful!! I can't say enough about the service we have gotten in this hotel. I definitely recommend, and we will stay again, just in a higher room level!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Feb 23, 2022
Stayed for 4 nights the week before the Super Bowl. Had booked a pyramid room with our MGM rewards, but the room we were going to be assigned was evidently down for maintenance and we got upgraded for free to the Tower rooms.
Not overly fancy, but nice room. Bed has no box spring, so it's pretty low to the ground. Nice bathroom with big tub and separate shower. Shower had some mold on the bottom part of the frame, and could've used a better scrubbing, but everything else was clean.
The couple staff we interacted with were very friendly & helpful. It's not the Ritz but for paying for only a resort fee, I can't complain.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Laura B.San Diego, CA0567May 9, 2023Updated review
I do believe this is the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. There are so many places to stay in Las Vegas. Have a better experience and stay elsewhere.
Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0May 7, 2023Previous reviewTwo stars for this hotel is probably generous. On the positive side, the room is nice and large and comfortable. That's where the positives end. There is no refrigerator, microwave, or coffee maker in the room. While there is a Starbucks downstairs, their coffee is pretty awful. Half of the elevators are off-line and I actually had to walk down from the 12th floor because elevators were not arriving. The elevators that are working are sometimes scary with very loud screeching noises and they look very decrepit inside. Maintenance on this building is nonexistent. Forget about trying to reach anyone at the front desk or concierge by the phone. Every time, you get a message that says that they are not available. Also, housekeeping doesn't clean up your room unless you allow them in when they first arrive in your area. The sink in the bathroom is backed up. This is not a hotel I would ever consider staying out again.

First time in Vegas and stayed at the Luxor and my family and I had an amazing time! We checked in on a Wednesday and checked out on Saturday. It was quick trip but it was exactly what we all needed and it certainly made us want to return!
Things to know before you consider coming here:
Yes, it smells like cigarettes- you can smoke in the casino and smoke does travel throughout.
Yes, some of the rooms may be older and dated but you get what you pay for is my motto.
Bring ear plugs if you are a light sleeper.
I highly recommend getting a room with a king bed and bathroom with a shower and tub.
I will say this, the room my husband and I stayed in had a hard time with the humidity level- no matter how hard that AC worked it seemed to feel stuffy. To be honest, I think it used to be a smoking room just because of the faint smell of smoke. However, my parents stayed three doors down from us, had the same exact room and set up as us and their room had no smell of smoke whatsoever and that AC worked well-they kept it cool and comfy! So I think it really is the luck of the draw (no pun intended).
The blackout curtains in the room really help with sleeping and I didn't find hallway noise to be an issue at all. We stayed on the 15th floor in the East Tower- which I believe is somewhat newer.
As for the Hotel and Casino itself, there are so many things to do, countless food options, and tons of walking! There's an easy walkway to get to Mandalay Bay Resort that is connected to the Luxor and same goes for walking to Excalibur! I would certainly stay here again and hopefully have more time to check out the spa and pool area.Helpful 6Thanks 0Love this 4Oh no 0 - Doug M.Pekin, IL13518Oct 28, 2022
It's been a few months since I was at the Luxor and I'm just getting around to reviewing it. This place is dirty. I was here for 5 days and housekeeping cleaned once. I had to call about fresh towels and staff seemed put out by my request. I arrived on a Monday, the first thing I did was get ice. On top of the ice machine sat a Corona bottle with a lime in it. I left on a Friday, but before I left I went and checked on the Corona bottle I had been monitoring all week and sure enough it was it the same place I saw it on Monday, but the lime had changed color a bit (Pic Included). Will never stay here again.

3/18/23 We came for 2 days and when we walked into our room it smelled like mold and mildew. We called and they sent up a bottle of some sort of spray to kill the smell. It didn't work. My brother inlaw a few doors down had the same smell also. Anyways they didn't have another room So we bared through it. The smell the next day was even worse and couldn't take it anymore and we got another room. The bell hop took us to the new room opened our door and it smelled like fabreeze covering up a mildew smell AGAIN! He handed us our keys and we the got outta of the room and went down stairs. We we came into the elevator the keys didn't work. Then had to go all the way back down, wait inline, and get the key situation handled. Our room was not convenient to say the least. In short if you like mold and mildew then this is the place for you! Pictured below is the bottle of whatever they left us
