Luxor Reopens on the Las Vegas Strip in June, Followed by Mandalay Bay and Aria in July

Mandalay Place and the Four Seasons have opening dates as well

MGM Resorts plans to open three more resorts by the time the Fourth of July arrives in Las Vegas. First comes Luxor, along with Mandalay Place, the shopping esplanade that stretches between Luxor and Mandalay Bay. The resort and shopping mall open at 10 a.m. on June 25.

Then Aria and Mandalay Bay, as well as the Four Seasons, reopen at 11 a.m. on July 1.

All three casinos and the shopping mall plan to open limited dining options, although the company did not reveal which would open.

On June 4, MGM Resorts reopened the Bellagio, MGM Grand and its neighboring Signature, and New York-New York. On Thursday, June 18, Excalibur reopens.

Earlier, MGM Resorts acting CEO and president Bill Hornbuckle said that the company would phase in resort reopenings biweekly or monthly. With this new set of reopenings, only Park MGM, NoMad, the non-gaming Vdara, and the Mirage remain closed after July 1.

Luxor, Mandalay Bay, the Four Seasons, and Aria plan to open their pools and some restaurants. The company already eliminated paid self-parking, but for now valet will not be available. Nightclubs and pool parties remain closed.

Gov. Steve Sisolak closed casinos on March 17 to curb the spread of COVID-19. The Nevada Gaming Control Board issued guidelines to resorts to reopen that include maintaining 50 percent capacity, masks on staff, cleaning protocols, and social distancing throughout the casino. Casinos were permitted to reopen across the state on June 4.
